Project Description:

 

Nike is one of the world’s biggest and US’s largest foot wear and Apparel Company. Nike has got well established operations throughout the world countries such as USA, EMEA countries, China, and JAPAN.

DCIT (Digital Commerce IT) is an IT division within NIKE and caters its valuable services in developing and maintaining all E-commerce enabled applications of Nike such as Store (USA and EMEA), NikeID products for USA, EMEA, China and Japan, and some more internal applications such as CSR (Customer Sales Representative), and Order Management System (OMS), and Product Catalogue applications Viz., ID Edit and PCAT.

 

As part of Grand Slam program, the current ATG Order fulfilment system got replaced by Sterling’s Distributed Order Management System (DOMS) to service all geographies and affiliates using a middleware service bus as the integration fabric.

 

Order fulfilment and management will be capable through existing retail warehouses, wholesale warehouses, Retail B&M stores, and other drop-ship vendors. All common shared processes such as Tax Calculation, Address validation, Fraud, Payment, etc., will integrate via the service bus allowing us to share common functions between ATG ecommerce and the DOMS. Grand Slam is a multi-release program.

This project integrates & migrates the trading data from different systems which includes BOA GIM and PACE and AFI Invest1, PAM and GIM etc. ETL transfers data from different source into Pipe delimited text files. Each source system has different kind of file formats like Text, Tab-Delimited, Fixed width files. The target files generated are transferred to different downstream applications.

Safeway coupon and promotion management applications are currently limited by a 5-byte LINK number field, which is used to identify Promotions including a fixed digit prefix.  A recent increase in e-Coupons use requires expansion of the LINKS identifier to handle more than 10,000 entries. 

This project is intended to increase the LINKS field size to 12 bytes to provide the scale and flexibility required for future promotion programs envisaged by Safeway.

Multiplayer Bingo

A 90 balls Bingo game, which will be played online Flash and Mobile time. Many users will be playing the game in online. User can select any scheduled game. User buys the ticket to play the game, numbers will be called if the user has numbers that’s called user dab the ticket for 1Line, 2line, and Full House and if the user wins the game user gets prize money. Game provides chat area to chat with chat moderator and other players.

Mobile Bingo

Mobile Bingo is similar to Mobile version of online bingo. It’s developed with some features.

Offline Bingo

The Blue Square Offline Bingo Application is conceptualized to automate the existing bingo game being played in the bingo halls. So the scope of the application is limited inside a bingo hall network.

A player goes to bingo hall and asks the cashier to participate in the game. Player will be given a RFID card in which either a voucher number or their existing BSQ\Mecca registration or both details are loaded. Player will also be given a hand held device using which he can experience the game. Player can move anywhere in the bingo hall with the device and there will be positions or additional devices provided in case if they want to dock the device and view the game in a bigger screen. There could be additional options available on the bigger screen which are not there in hand held device. The device has provision to swipe/insert the card. Player will swipe the card and enter the pin and they will be displayed a screen to choose the login i.e. either using voucher (cash) or using existing account (Open bet); in case of voucher number player will enter a pin and in case of account, a password. After a successful authentication player will be provided with a screen from which they can select any of the game they wish to play. The options could be Bingo game, Play Games such as Mini game and Cash Line bingo. There shall be other options also available such as players’ account details, help manual and information about the club.

Validation of T+1 Transaction data and Reports Validation

Project Description:

 

SABRE II system was being developed for the Financial Services Authority (FSA) by Detica. The FSA detects and investigates market abuse across UK securities using a system known as SABRE. SABRE collects sensitive post trade data from a wide variety of sources covering a multitude of debt and equity related financial instruments including contracts for difference, bonds, spread bets and equities. The current SABRE I system has reached its full life-cycle and is being replaced by the new and more advanced SABRE II system.

 

There will be a number of Approved Reporting Mechanisms (Arms) supplying T+1 transaction to SABRE II via the FSA Gateway. This data will be augmented by reference data supplied from a number of external sources, such as Reuters Data scope Select. SABRE II will extract a number of transaction reports and transmit these to the CESR Hub as T+2 transaction reports from where they will be collected by the Relevant Competent Authorities (CAs).

 

These Competent Authorities will also transmit similar T+2 transaction reports to the CESR Hub for consumption by SABRE II. There will also be additional reference data collated and distributed by CESR. Finally, SABRE II will produce monthly statistics for CESR.

C&W has built a major business in supplying telephony Operator Services to its own retail subscribers and to wholesale customers’ subscribers. The objective of the overall OSP Replacement project is to refresh the emergency services applications platform by delivering replacements for COSAR (Cable Operator Service Activation Request), CDTRANS (Cable Daily Transmission), OSN (Operator Services Number) and FRNT. In Phase-1 COSAR and CDTRANS replaced.

COSAR currently provides a facility to receive and validate Service Activation Request (SARs) from Cable Operators. The SARs are requests to activate a subscriber/telephone number, so COSAR then distributes them to OSN/FRNT for emergency services activation and SSBS for billing activation. The CDTRANS are used to get SAR Response files for collection by the Cable operators and then in addition their electronic call details i.e. Data bills files and monthly CPS/WLR charge details.
